We know that you probably hate lengthy terms and worse yet ; contracts. We get it! We flipping hate them too. Our intention is not to overwhelm you with long complicated legal mumbo jumbo. Instead we just need to make sure we all on the same page. These terms and conditions apply to your use of our services at www.laundro.co.za.
1. The Laundro Pty Ltd, is a private company established in the Republic of South Africa.
2. The Service.
We provide a fixed price laundry service for R529 per month. This is a monthly fee, and you will be billed on the same day, in the next calendar month. We collect, wash, iron, pack and deliver your laundry unlimited times per month. Provided at least 24hours notice is given before collection.
The service includes 2 free weekly pickups and deliveries. You welcome to deliver additional loads to our washbay free of charge, or request additional pickups and deliveries which will be billed at R139.
You may not book another load while another load has been requested, and before it has been delivered or in the process of the washbay.
No pro rata billing is applied to the invoice, regardless of when you join.
We’d love to stay friends forever. However, we do understand that sometimes it is time to say goodbye. So no hard feelings. No need to pay any cancellation fee. Just let us know that you won’t be renewing your subscription. No refunds will paid to you in the event of cancellation of services, by the client or any of its representatives.
If things change, and you need a refund. No worries. We just need to let you know all monies paid to us are non-refundable, once services have already been delivered to you.
In the event of any unused services, you will be entitled to a full refund. Provided you claim this within 7 business days of payment.
Therefore, if for whatever reason you are not satisified with our service. You're one cancellation away. In the event that a refund is processed, you will be charged R139 per load. The refund due to you will be pro-ratad, i.e R529 less the cost of any services used.
Please note, all refunds take 5-7 working days to process.
6. Life Happens
While it is never our intention for an item to go missing or get damaged, occasionally it can happen. If this is the case, please let us know immediately. If it was our fault, we’ll happily offer you a fair price reimbursement of the item. Our team will assess the fair market value of the item, and reimburse you the fair market value. To the maximum of R1500 per item. However, you need to let us know within 2 days. After the 2 day period has lapsed, no refund will be processed.
Laundro does not take responsibility for any loose items lost when submitted in a Laundro bag, such as watches, jewelry, cufflinks, money, wallets, etc. and shall have no liability for such items.
Although we do our best to prevent any damages to your garment, unfortunately every garment, regardless of brand or quality, will wear out over time, and there is nothing Laundro can do to predict when this will happen, or prevent it. For damage related to normal wear and tear, Laundro does not provide reimbursement or compensation. Per industry standards, the following are considered to be normal wear and tear: Shrinkage from repeated laundering, Curtain shrinkage, Color fading, Small holes or tears, Discoloration caused by hygiene or beauty products (deodorant, perfume, cologne), Button damage, Thinning of fabric.
8. Operating Hours
We operate from 8am to 6pm. Pickups and deliveries will be scheduled during these times only.
Your pickup must be requested within 24 hours prior to collection. Laundro will adhere to your request and it may be collected within 24-48 hours thereafter, provided these are the standard operating hours.
Laundro reserves the right to amend or cancel the requested pickup or delivery request.
Kindly note, due to the complexity of people's schedules. It does happen that the driver may experience delays, from time to time. To avoid missing appointment times, we provide you with timeslots rather than a specific time.
If this does not work for you, Kindly let us know and we'll reschedule.
No pickups and deliveries will be scheduled without the client confirming the booking. Thus, laundry will not be collected or delivered without prior, client consent.
No laundry will be left or delivered with security guards or any other individual, unless specifically requested via email.
Further, in the event of a driver being dispatched and nobody is available to meet the driver. An additional charge of R150 will be for your account. This is payable prior to the next dispatch of the driver. This applies to both pickups and deliveries.
9. Turnaround times
We aim to collect your laundry within 2-3 days after you've requested a pickup. However this may vary from time to time. Based on availability and our booking system.
Standard turnaround times are 2-3 days, counted from the time of collection. This excludes Sundays and Public Holidays.
A super express delivery option is available, and washing will be delivered within 24 hours. Provided washing is collected within the standard operating hours.
No pickups or deliveries are done on Sundays, Public Holidays, or outside standard operating hours.
All payments are due as per the invoice date. In the event of late payments after 7 days of the invoice, a R100 weekly penalty will be charged. This applies until the invoice has been settled in full.
We reserve the right to withhold items until payment is received in full.
